Founder

Prior to establishing SFG Richard was the Corporate Tax Manager of Colonial Mutual (as it was then called) and a Senior Tax manager at Ernst and Young.

A self-declared workaholic, Richard works closely with our clients on developing financial and tax strategies specific to their needs.  Richard also works closely with our team members developing their individual skills.

Richard is a graduate from Chisholm Institute (now Monash University) a Registered Tax Agent, Authorised Financial Planner and qualified Finance Broker.

In his spare time he enjoys studying the property and share markets, and attending major race meetings. He describes himself as a cricket lover and an extremely long suffering supporter of the Richmond football Club.

Nick Cardenas - Accounting Manager for Suttie Financial Group

Accounting manager

Nick is our Tax and Accounting Manager who commenced working with us in 2008.

Nick prides himself on being easily approachable and develops strong working relationships with clients.  With his strong work ethic, Nick enjoys tackling complex tax issues relating to property transactions, GST and Capital Gains.

He is a graduate of RMIT University, a registered Tax Agent, an Authorised Financial Planner and CPA qualified.

Nick is fluent in Spanish and spends his personal time playing tennis, soccer, reading, travelling and dining out.

Kelly Huynh

Tax Accountant

Kelly prepares tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS) for individuals and businesses.

She has over 8 years of experience in finance. Kelly is a highly experienced accountant who is focused on overcoming complex challenges and achieving the most effective solution for our client’s needs.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business (Acc) from Swinburne University and is fluent in Vietnamese and Cantonese.

She is passionate about travelling, planning dinner parties for friends and walking.

Roland Blazevic - Superfund Manager

Roland Blazevic

Superannuation Manager and Financial PlanneR

Roland is our Superannuation Manager and Financial Planner, joining the team in 2003. 

After a decade of practicing as an accountant with a variety of Chartered and CPA Accounting firms, he decided to focus on his true passion; helping people with professional financial advice, in particular superannuation and retirement planning.

Roland has gained vast financial planning experience, working with AMP Financial Planning for several years prior to joining SFG.  He enjoys assisting clients with superannuation strategies to ensure they can achieve and hopefully exceed their goals in retirement.

In his personal time, he cherishes the time spent with his wife and two daughters, following the NBA Chicago Bulls and going to the gym. 

Navneet Randhawa - Accountant

Accountant

Navneet is responsible in preparing BAS and individual tax returns.

She completed Masters in professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University in the year 2015.

Navneet has 2 years of experience as an Accountant.

For hobbies, she loves reading books and spending time with her family.

She is fluent in 3 languages which includes speaking Hindi and Punjabi.

Kelly Tian has a masters degree of Accounting from the University of Melbourne.

She has extensive experience working for Bank of Queensland and National Australia Bank for more than 5 years and obtained her lending accreditations.

In her spare time she likes playing badminton on weekends, riding a bike in the countryside and camping with her family and friends

She also likes travelling overseas for holidays and to experience different cultures.

Christina Lai - Accountant

Christina Lai Min

Accountant

Christina completed her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at RMIT University in 2017.

She prepares Individual tax returns and Business Activity Statement (BAS). She assists senior accountants of the company and holds an Associate (ASA) membership.

She has two years of experience as an Accountant and speaks French fluently.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends during her free time and to travel overseas.

Charine Tionardy

Accountant

Charine completed her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at RMIT University in 2019.

She started with Suttie Financial Group as part of the administration team and has worked up to Accountant.

She loves travelling & spending times with family and friends.

She speaks English and Indonesian.

Melanie Stayches

Financial Planning Assistant

Melanie assists Richard and Roland with clients’ financial planning matters.

She has a Bachelor of Business and over 20 years’ extensive experience as a Financial Planner in her own family business.

Melanie enjoys helping and guiding people throughout their financial journey. Through listening and working together, she aims to assist you in building your financial wellbeing so you can enjoy a comfortable life free from worry and stress.

Melanie has lived in Japan for several years and has a love of travel. She values time with family and friends, enjoys race days at Flemington and attending the Australian Open.

 

 

Olivia Nunn

administration and marketing assistant

Olivia is a part of our administration team. She is responsible for our social media pages and newsletter, whilst also assisting with administration tasks.

Olivia completed a Bachelor of Business (Marketing & Event Management) at Victoria University in 2019 and hopes to develop her passion for creating captivating content.

She is a keen traveller, looking forward to an upcoming trip to New York City.

Olivia describes herself as an outgoing person that enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending the latest music and sporting events.

Maree

Maree Suttie

Corporate affairs manager

Maree has been with the company since inception and is a friendly face/voice that all our customers recognise. 

She has an extensive knowledge of all the clients and operating systems and is integral part of the Administration team. She is the Corporate Affairs manager and in addition to this provides administrative assistance to the accounting team.

Maree works four days a week and, in her time off, enjoys gardening, renovating, painting and walking. 

Maree also enjoys travelling and spending time with loved ones.

Sandra Rallis

Accounts Manager

Sandra is the most vibrant person in the office. She spends the majority of her time assisting and organising Richard, when she can catch a break Sandra runs all the accounts for the business and is willing to help anyone in the office with any query for admin.

Sandra went back to school 5 years ago and obtained a Cert 4 in Bookkeeping.

She is a very proud mother of 3 teenagers whom she says will become her biggest and best accomplishments. Sandra loves being physically active and aspires to keep her children the same way.

Most importantly Sandra love’s to come to work and be a part of this team.
